Cut timber 2 by 4 inches to the height and width of the sliding barn door to create the structure. For a stronger structure, timber stacks two 2 by 4 or uses beams 4 by 4 inches (10 by 10 cm). Assemble the structure using metal brackets and galvanized nails or screws. Cut a cross brace and install it in the center of the structure. Cut the boards to the height of the barn door and place on the structure. Sujétalas to the structure using screws or galvanized nails. Use a little glue or adhesive to reinforce them.

Mount the sliding barn door track to the top of the structure, using an accurate carpenter’s level. Wood screws using an electric screwdriver and for mounting the rail to the structure.
