Installing Vintage Medicine Cabinet on the Wall

Oct 25th

A vintage medicine cabinet can be mounted on a bathroom wall behind the bathroom mirror. The mirror then mounted with hinges to the wall and opens to access the contents of the cabinet. This is a practical and convenient space that otherwise would not be used at all use. Medicine cabinets are generally used for storing toiletries such as medicine, toothpaste or makeup.

Instructions

Measure the distance vintage medicine cabinet between the two poles are inside the wall on either side of that short hole. Cut two pieces of 2 by 4 inches (10.1 cm 5) to fit horizontally between the two closest to the hole vertical posts. Slide them toward the wall to the underside of the top of the piece of wood and the upper surface of the bottom piece of wood flush with the edge of the hole.

Screw through their extreme poles diagonally and they are getting into. If you’re working on a new building, or for some other reason the uprights are exposed. Place the kit into the hole and secure it by tightening the flange at its edge and the horizontal pieces you just installed. Install the mirror on the vintage medicine cabinet riding their hinges on the edge of the cabinet or wall near it, depending on the instructions of that unit.
