  1. Paint or stain all of your timber and let it dry for 24 to 48 hours before starting to build student desk.
  2. Place a layer of glue on the end of one of the boards 24 inches long for student desk. Connect the side of a board 18 inches long with glue to form a right angle in an “L”.
  3. Use a hammer to nail the planks together L-shaped for strength and support.
  4. Put the two forms in L together to form a rectangular box. Glue the ends with no glue together and clean any excess glue.
  5. Cava newly glued ends together.
  6. Cutting a sheet of plywood 1/4 inch thick to fit into the top of the box. Use wood glue to hold it.
  7. Turn over the box so that the open side faces up. Aligns a second sheet of plywood 1/4 inch thick with the edges of the box.
