1. Remove the door if it opens into the cabinet, as do some doors in larger enclosures. Remove the hinges and lift them up turning them exactly, using the same holes if possible to re-install with the drill.

2. Search the rivets on the interior walls and the rear of the enclosure using a detector rivets and mark both sides of each rivet. Cut the rivet 2 by 4 inches (5 by 10 cm) in three parts depending on the width of each wall of the cabinet.

3. Measure the space allocated for the armoire desk with a pencil and transfers the measurements to the surface of the desk table.
